has once again topped the charts as the most popular overseas destination for the bride to be to let her hair down for one last time before the big day.

With its golden beaches, world famous pool parties and unrivalled nightlife the only way really is Marbs!

So with the wedding planning season in full swing we thought it would be the perfect time to let you in on a few Marbella do’s and dont’s that will help you keep your fellow hens happy and make sure you really make the most of your vacay!

DO make sure you pre book.

With venues  like Plaza Beach, La Sala By The Sea and SISU selling out most weekends the likelihood is that if you don’t pre plan your trip you will be disappointed.

Pre booking your beds also works in your favour as prices are generally cheaper when booking in advance, which gives you more money to spend on cocktails!

Find out more about the best Marbella venues to visit here:

Bridesmaid Tip:

Booking websites such as www.mymarbellaweekender.com offer great package deals allowing you to book everything in one location.

Only one payment plan, one contact for all of your bookings and on going help, advice and recommendations throughout your booking process. This saves the messiness of having to keep in contact with lots of different venues and suppliers all of which have different payment terms, due dates and deposits etc.

MMW also offer unbiased advice on the best events and activities for your group and our prices are the same as the venues.

We also don’t charge our clients a booking fee – Amazing!

DON’T forget the little touches

Any bride to be will tell you that while the location and the itinerary are important factors in creating a great hen do, it’s always the thoughtful little extras that really make the weekend super special.

Personalised memory books filled in by all of the guests,  tailor made robes and mini weekend survival packs are just a few little ideas that will have a big impact!

We can also create surprise balloon packages for your bride to be set up ready for your arrival – the perfect way to start your vacay!

Check out some of our previous packages here:

Bridesmaid Tip:

Check out cute little instagram companies such as @perfectparcels and @bespokebride for some fun and  unique accessories.

DO schedule in some chill time

Make sure you don’t over-plan your vacay!

While it’s important to pre book the things that your group don’t want to miss out on it’s also inevitable that too much sun and sangria will take its toll leaving you needing some time to relax, after all it is supposed to be a holiday right?

If you’re staying in a villa why not schedule in a private pool party or mobile BBQ, giving you chance to chill out?

If you’re looking for something a little more lively a cocktail class or cheeky butler breakfast are also great surprises for the hen!

Bridesmaid Tip:

Spending a day at the apartment or villa is also a good money saver if you’re on a budget.

Why not put together your own pamper package and organise some pre night out games.

Website such as www.hitched.co.uk and www.thehenplanner.com have some great ideas!

We can also arrange a cheeky butler for an hour to serve drinks and play games which works out as a super cheap and fun night in activity.

DON’T miss out on the real Marbella

With programmes like TOWIE making Marbella popular with hen do’s it’s not surprising that many hen parties accidentally book to stay in Marbella Town when actually the bars, beach clubs and nightclubs are a little further down the road in Puerto Banus. Despite this, booking to stay a little further out could be a blessing in disguise!

With its beach Chiringuitos, sea view cocktail bars and picturesque cobbled streets old town Marbella is a great place to enjoy a glimpse into a more traditionally Spanish lifestyle.

Plaza de los Naranjos is a beautiful location for food with The Orange Tree Restaurant being one of our  favourite picks!

For a great beachy lunch or evening meal check out The Boardwalk Restaurant and for tapas and cocktails Mas Que Tapas and Punto Faro are also great places to visit!

Still looking for the perfect place to stay?

Bridesmaid tip:

Taxi’s cost around 12-15 Euros to Marbella Town from Banus.

If you’re feeling energetic you can walk from Marbella to Puerto Banus along the beach front (Stopping at the beach bars along the way for a cocktail or 2 of course!)

You can also get the catamaran from the Puerto Banus Marina to Marbella and back for just 15 Euros return!

So there you have a few of our Marbella Hen Do’s and Dont’s!
